DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis will host the 12 neighborhood budget gatherings to have face-to-face conversations with citizens and receive input on the proposed 2010 DeKalb County operating budget.

Super District 7 Commissioner Connie Stokes, who chairs the commission’s budget committee, will join CEO Ellis at each of the gatherings, as well as other members of the board. The budget gatherings are being hosted by neighborhood organizations throughout DeKalb. All budget meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will end around 8:30 p.m.

Questions and comments from each of budget gathering will be published for public viewing.
